All the images below were taken from  www.stockfreeimages.com a website for copyright free images, which I found very helpful. It's not always easy to take the fitting photo to suit the end use. You don't want to find out after your work is sold that you have to pay someone for the use of their image especially if you are designer maker selling your work with a small profit margin.

Having re-looked at the ideas presented earlier for the business on a shoe string, I feel that this needs more thought. I need to develop and produce something that I know will work in relation to the time I have. Therefore, I have looked back at a project that I did in 2011.

I was asked to submit ideas for an awards presentation celebrating young artists and performers from the county of Staffordshire. For a festival to be held in the regent theatre Hanley, called The Creative Mind’s festival, sponsored by the Bertarelli foundation.

My ideas were excepted and I was given the opportunity to produce a range of nine pieces to fit with categories such as: - drama, visual arts, solo artist, digital media and best overall.

Here are some of the non-copy right images used within the production of the art works, I tried to pick and use images that would suit each category.

The images were then transferred using the emulsion paint method and embellished with handmade and metallic papers as well as voiles and free hand machine embroidery.

The artwork was well received and led on to other commission work. So with this in mind I re-examined the work produced and feel that the technique and process used would work well as smaller pieces, using imagery of local landmarks and embellish the work in a similar way.
